Radiant and natural makeup pengantin for nikah - Without brow trim or shaving

Salam my dear readers,

Here is Salsabila or affectionately called Sheila in natural sweet nikah makeup in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. She is a very friendly lady who is always generous with her smile as you can see from the pictures. I really enjoyed working with her, and hope she will keep in touch just like all my previous clients. Here she shines with radiance and natural beauty, without brow shaving and wearing a very natural looking false lashes.

Bdw, I shall blog about my latest solutions for clients who doesn’t like wearing false lashes, but wants to have extra long natural looking lashes  that is absolutely comfortable as your own lashes! Tunggu yaa.

OK, Sheila rarely wears makeup and hence prefers natural makeup. She told me that her friends complimented her and the natural makeup absolutely suits her well.

 She is wearing Kryolan + MAC Satinfinish +Studio Finish foundation to give a radiant healthy look, avoiding the fake Geisha’like fairness. Blush is from MAC+Estee Lauder. Eyeshadow is from Inglot and MAC. Lipstick is mixed MAC Angel+ MAC Pro Long Wear pink.

Her brows look like it has been plucked right? But it hasn’t at all, as Sheila forbids shaving it. I only use MAC PaintPot Barestudy as highlight, and combed it thru with Mary Kay’s brow setting gel to coax the hair into place.

Natural Makeup for Mother & Sister of Bride & My Experience meeting Saidatulnisa Aminuddin

I would like to share with another makeup job, my second time with Baizura’s mom and sister Dira. Baizura was made up beautifully for her reception in Dewan Felda Perdana by the famous makeup artist Saidatulnisa Aminuddin, whilst I did the makeup for her sister and mother. The theme was lilac color.

Thank you so much Baizura, Dira and the kind hospitality extended to me especially by your sweet mother. I really enjoyed working with you gals. ;)

Natural Day Makeup

Here is Dira, in light natural makeup as per her request as a bridesmaid for her sister’s wedding. Although she is wearing a pink colored lipstick, the warm lighting in the makeup room made it look nude looking instead. I regret not taking her pic in full beautiful turquoise outfit.

Makeup For Mature Lady, best products to reduce wrinkle appearance

Salam my dear readers,

Putting the right makeup on mature skin can be quite a task, as the wrong product can accentuate wrinkles and further putting more aged look instead. 

The trick is using light reflective make up to bounce off light where you don’t want the wrinkle to show. The MAC Strobe cream is really good in doing so, by subtly giving glow and giving a smoother skin as a base. Next is using the MAC Mineralized Satinfinish liquid foundation giving the skin a healthy glow and less powdered look. Heavily powdered look can result in unnatural aged look. 

Keep it sheer and glowing, and use LANCOME Teint Miracle pen to magically erase wrinkle, eye bag, laugh lines. However the magic result is only prominent in flash photography, as you need the light flash effect to reflect the smooth look. Nonetheless, look pic below to see how a 58 years old lady is transformed to a healthy glowing youthful look by using the product mentioned above. Amazing! I do not have her before pic, I will update as soon as I see her in the next session.

Makeup for going casting AND Tips going for casting, what to expect

If you happen to get a chance to go for casting, mainly for advertisement... do go with natural makeup. Because the casting director would want to see you without heavy makeups. They would encourage you not to wear revealing clothes, heavy makeup and no big spidery fake lashes.

They want to see the REAL you.

If they choose you for the final cut, then they will have a designated makeup artist to do everything the director wants.

So keep the makeup light, using peach tones to give you healthy glow.

Next...

INTRO
Learn to introduce your self. Remember key points and keep it simple.
Name, age, height, weight, hobby, previous TV/ADV engagement.

POSE
Practise your smile.... stand in front of d mirror and know your best pose....
Choose about 1-3 pose. Remember that pose.

They will have basic pose where they will take pics of frontal, side profile and 360 degrees turn. Then free style pose.

If you get shortlisted, here's what will happen....

Then, they will have simple script and prop for the actual casting. You'll be given few minutes to memorize.
Then camera will roll.
Dun worry, it happen in segmented scenes. So in between takes, you will have chance to memorize the current scene.

Remember to take body measurements, and your outfit sizes. They will take down these details.

Check the shoot date. ARE U AVAILABLE?

Remember, casting is suppose to be free. They are suppose to pay you(if you get the job) ...not the other way around. You get chosen, they get paid and you get paid.

Aniqah - Makeup for Day Event, Corporate

 Salam Readers,

First of all thank you Aniqah for hiring me. It was a pleasure meeting you and thank you so much for your kind hospitality extended to me. I really love your house!

Aniqah is a fan of smokey look and loves makeup too. I think she has lovely eyes and smokey look would look perfect on her. In fact, I'd look forward to do deep purplish smokey look for her. However, her event is more of a corporate presentation rather than a glitz party, therefore I gave her a more of polished, but still natural look. As usual, I forgot to take her 'before' photo. alahaiiii....

Aniqah had a warm to medium tan skintone, so I even it out with Kryolan FS36, Derma D5 and finished it with FS38. Dusted with Bobbi Brown loose powder, final powder with Lancome Maqui Miracle. She has sweat prone area on her nose and upper lips. I dusted the area with Kryolan's Anti Shine powder lightly.

Her eyes are combination of dark browns and lavender.Colors has been toned down as this is a day event and also soft colors will make you look younger (depends on application). She is wearing medium falsies, which looks very sultry but not too over the top.

Her tudong has cool lavender AND warm orange. So i decided to match lavender to her eyeshadow colors and peach orange lips to match the other color on her hijab.

Maternity Photoshoot for Sarah

This adorable lady is Sarah from Seksyen 13, Shah Alam... hey, dat's where I live! Kira same neighbourhood jugak la...
So, currently she is about 8 month pregnant and would like to do a maternity photoshoot. Hence, thank you Sarah for calling me to assist you with the makeup.
Sarah prefers light makeup, her main concern was evening up her complexion and refining her features. Sometimes when we are pregnant, the water retention does affect our facial features, which is why we sometimes appear different than usual. Nonetheless, as you can see your self... she looks sweet and absolutely comel!

PS - No fake eyelash, no eyebrow modification, no liquid liner..... what you see is what you get.

Here is my friend frm UNI, Shuhada, she is beauty business entrepreneur. Last week she was present in KL for award acceptance event for her achievement. She kindly asked me to make her up, & I gladly accepted. Seeing an old friend and catching up on old times IS a bonus! Isn't Aida HOT in this pic? Her naural hair and simple makeup just made her look irresistable. Another faithful believer in natural makeup, and she is right! With simple light brown shadows and liner, she already looks great!

Touch Up & Beauty Is Yours

Firstly, I would like to thank Liana for hiring me to do her make up twice within 2 weeks. She is absolutely sweet, soft spoken and I really enjoyed working with her. She has lovely skin and feature except one minor blemish and bluish under eye bags. So, I used Kryolan TV Stick corrector in #508 which is a salmon/oren colored corrector, layered it with Dermacolor concealer and lastly finish it with a FS36 all over her skin. Add a lil pink and lavender eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner and tiny falsies bits at the outer corner of her eyes. Isn't she gorgeous as a model!
