Aniqah - Makeup for Day Event, Corporate

 Salam Readers,

First of all thank you Aniqah for hiring me. It was a pleasure meeting you and thank you so much for your kind hospitality extended to me. I really love your house!

Aniqah is a fan of smokey look and loves makeup too. I think she has lovely eyes and smokey look would look perfect on her. In fact, I'd look forward to do deep purplish smokey look for her. However, her event is more of a corporate presentation rather than a glitz party, therefore I gave her a more of polished, but still natural look. As usual, I forgot to take her 'before' photo. alahaiiii....

Aniqah had a warm to medium tan skintone, so I even it out with Kryolan FS36, Derma D5 and finished it with FS38. Dusted with Bobbi Brown loose powder, final powder with Lancome Maqui Miracle. She has sweat prone area on her nose and upper lips. I dusted the area with Kryolan's Anti Shine powder lightly.

Her eyes are combination of dark browns and lavender.Colors has been toned down as this is a day event and also soft colors will make you look younger (depends on application). She is wearing medium falsies, which looks very sultry but not too over the top.

Her tudong has cool lavender AND warm orange. So i decided to match lavender to her eyeshadow colors and peach orange lips to match the other color on her hijab.

Maternity Photoshoot for Sarah

Salam ladies,

This adorable lady is Sarah from Seksyen 13, Shah Alam... hey, dat's where I live! Kira same neighbourhood jugak la...
So, currently she is about 8 month pregnant and would like to do a maternity photoshoot. Hence, thank you Sarah for calling me to assist you with the makeup.
Sarah prefers light makeup, her main concern was evening up her complexion and refining her features. Sometimes when we are pregnant, the water retention does affect our facial features, which is why we sometimes appear different than usual. Nonetheless, as you can see your self... she looks sweet and absolutely comel!

PS - No fake eyelash, no eyebrow modification, no liquid liner..... what you see is what you get.

Liana, thank you again for hiring me ... for the 3rd time.. this year. Alhamdulillah. I hope you like the natural result you requested for.

Smashbox Eyeshadow X-Periment - Pink & Purple

The new smashbox eyeshadow pallate are not bad at all!
For RM200 it is worth it! The payoff color deposit are intense.... photographs well too. Here is some pics which I tried pink+brown red tones on one eye, while purple+blue on the other eye. I tried different eyeshadow application technique too.... which one do you like?

Foundation use is a tone lighter than my skin, FS38 kryolan... so that the soft colors will show up better. I am using falsies here, however these are not my favorite type(plastic). I prefer handmade thread or feather falsies rather then the plastic ones. They look much more natural & feels more comfy too. But, yeah.. if you need more impact, just mix these two....
Lipstick is MAC Angel + Gloss from STAGE

3 versatile LOOK, from natural day to night glam ( without falsies, with falsies, with falsies & heavy make up)

Natural make up, thin winged liner

 Sometimes it is simple to take a natural make up and upgrade it into a more define make up that is fit for glam dinner. All we need to do is fix a pair of falsies (i like adding them to the outer corner of my eyes, so I dun look too made up dolly look. And subtle transformation is always nicer .. in my opinion)

Then, you need a darker shade of eyeshadow, black shadow is not really scary... blend it well and you can get away without looking to gothic.

 The falsies doesn't show here in the above pic that much, but i can assure you it looks really sultry and elegantly sexy in real life

Upgrade natural look to dinner glam make up with black eye shadows on top of the original natural make up

Here after a dash of black shadows... I'm ready for a night out glam! Notice the subtle difference? Top pic is  brown MAC eyeshadow with golden highlights. Below pic, is blended with Mary Kay's Coal black eyeshadow. This also look quite heavy in real life.... but the flash from my camera bleaches out the eyeshadow colors.

Natural Day Make Up - Neutral Brown Tones

Here is an example of neutral earth tone colors suitable for day make up. I have not use fake lashes here (still look good, no?) , but it would look really awesome with falsies if you want a touch of glamour.
