Congrats to Farisa, semoga berbahgia ke anak cucu... Her look is inspired for Katie Holmes look for Bobby Brown campaign. A tone down earthy brown light smokey look.

Adrina, Kemensah Heights Natural Glowing Engagement Makeup

 
 Here is Adrina from Kemensah Heights, on her engagement day. Adrina prefers light natural makeup so that she'll still look like herself but lively with glowing skin.

So using NARS, with Dermacolor underbase to cover skin imperfections, paired with a good dose of skin perfecting moisturisers and serum.

Eyeshadows were kept minimal, no fake lashes, no eyebrow trim. Minor contouring too, and a sweet hint of peach blush.

The Lancome coral lipstick would have been PERFECT for her, but i think the heat must off melted the base on cause for it to break into two! So sadddd. Gotta get a new one.

So, i use Dior Gloss and MAC lipstick instead.

To my surprise, Adrina happens to be Yuhannis schoolmate!

What a small world.

Natural soft Makeup but elegantly sexy, Hannis Kemensah Heights

Many thanks to Yuhannis and her mom Khaliza for their kind hospitality extended. Love working with them both, they reminded me of Gilmore Girls.Her skin is repeated misted with Avene Spa mist and UD All Nighter too.

Yuhannis makeup concept is natural sexy, she gave me a beautiful picture sample of an eye makeup which i copied and improvised to suit her eyes. Her healthy complexion is achieved with using Kryolan FS36 to cover blemish, second coat of MAC NC35 and dusted with Bobbi Brown loose powder.

Her finishing is by Laura mercier highlighter, peach blush by MAC and Her luscious lips is by Sephora and Chanel.

Wei See Tea ceremony & Wedding Reception at Concorde KL

A natural look is never an easy thing to do.....
It takes the right tools, mostly expensive ones... :-(
A whole lot of moisturizing goodies....
A lot of blending and blending the product into the skin...

And time.

A healthy glow has to come from within, so to naturally 'fake it' you have to balance the shimmer and have judgement on the lighting conditions too.

Wei See has been a very understanding client, and it was a pleasure to work with her and her lovely family too. Wei See appreciates natural beauty and loves a 'clean' look.

However, having a dry skin can be a challenge to put on makeup. The product seems to seep into every nook and cranny of the skin, emphasizing wrinkles.  Therefore, moisturing seem to be the key of making sure the makeup look naturally fresh. And of course, the right product too.

The tricky part i find the hardest was, covering imperfections whilst keeping less product used.

Hence, here is my best. Enjoy the photos.

Wei See natural fair maiden look is achieve with a whole lot of moisturizing, Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Series, a hydration ampoule from Paris, M.A.C Charged Water misting spray. 

Blemishes is covered using Dermacolor, foundation is from KOSE, eyeshadow is from Urban Decay, Lipstick from SEPHORA, blusher from Estee Lauder , MAC. Shimmer from Laura Mercier and MAC. 

NO EYELINER is used in this makeup at all!

Subtle nose contouring technique is used to ensure Wei See looks absolutely natural.

Her fake lashes has been hand cut, to make sure the 'lentik' or curve isnt too showing, a tip shared by Wei See.

Natural Engagement Makeup - Green and Grey

Here is Hafiza from Selayang on her engagement . Her eyeshadow is a mix of green and grey from the LANCOME Ombre collection, as well as her lipstick which of coral tones of LANCOME. 

Hafiza skin was naturally flawless, except that she had a bad allergic reaction towards a new local skincare she had tried, which caused an acne like marks.

Therefore, to reduce further woes on her sensitive skin, I use Shu Eumura BB base as it is paraben free, silicon free and mica free. Moisturizer used is Origins Plantscription range.

Her foundation is from Kryolan Dermacolor code D4. This cream foundation is suitable for high coverage, long lasting performance, specially designed for covering tattoos, birthmark and acne mark. This product proves that it really does gives flawless like effect esp in photography.

I was contacted by Filzah, bride's mom to do nikah makeup for her daughter Dilla. Dilla wanted a natural look, since her hubby preferred less makeup look. Here she is, in natural makeup...

I find a lot of customers are asking for light natural makeup. 2012 bridal trends seems to ditch heavy opera’ish makeup with spidery false lashes. Brides are now looking to enhance their beauty without hiding underneath layers and layers of powders and heavily kohled eyes.

Another preference for most of my clients are… not wearing false lashes. This is fine, as I have fiber lashes approach for them… but it is more time consuming and expensive compared glueing a strip of fake lashes. Nonetheless, you will enjoy long lashes without the uncomfortable feeling of having an awning on your eye lids.

Anyways, here is my client in Banting recently, with 2012 natural wedding makeup look. I do not have her in complete bridal outfit, I hope she will tag me as soon as she has it, insyallah so I can share with you guys. She is absolutely lovely with natural makeup.
